After completing the walk described in this book, I felt I had fully explored and experienced the Lake District - some superb hidden country pubs too. An absolute must for all Lakeland Lovers!

FANTASTIC BOOK, 22 Nov 2000

I have been on many circular walks based upon scenery, but none based around pubs....I completed Mark Reid,s splendid walk and had the added benefit of getting totally rat arsed in the process.

A great way of spending a week away from the hassles of life!

I think the book is very good and different.Is it possible that i can get the e mail add from the rev from 3 june as i hope to undertake the walk in july na dwould like sometips on where to stay
