Product Description

This guide is part of the "Original" classic-car series. The Porsche 911 has remained one of the most desirable performance cars since 1963. Born with a modest 1991c 130bhp engine, by 1990 it had grown into a 3.3-litre 320bhp Turbo, and when the 911 seemed to be on the wane, a new version was introduced in 1993. All models including the 1993 car are described and illustrated in detail, providing a production history and a guide to factory originality, specification and equivalent.

Owning a porsche is almost every boys -no matter the age- dream. Once you reach that age that you start contemplate the purchase of a used porsche, that is the moment to buy this book. I bought it two years ago. It has directed me towards the car of my dreams (which I aquired yesterday). The book gives you a clear and objective review of the evolution of porsches technology including the pitfalls. It tells you what to look for when buying a used porsche and it allows you to make a perfect match between your budget, your technical skills and your passion. It's a man's book!

This book provides excellent content for those looking to buy, preserve or restore any Porsche 911. Very good colour pictures and detailed specification make for a very comprehensive volume for the 911 enthusiast. Highly reccommended, I used this book for identifying wrong/missing parts on my restoration project. A must for the Porsche enthusiast.

It is a perfect tool to someone who wants to know the way to the originality on any 911 produced. Great pictures, and useful information.
