My two girls read the first part of this fantasy-adventure series and were totally wrapped up in the antics of Rajen and Anuj. With the sequel the action and adventure jumps up a notch. Great fun and written in a style that is so easy to read... you can really imagine this as a film.

Really like Harry Potter books and saw that this was a magical type story. But it was much more of a fast adventure than just Wizards, spells and stuff. Thought it was great that it was based in Goa, there's a lot in it about the culture there. Really easy to read, the writing is good and the story keeps you wanting to know more and more. It was very gripping and fun.

I first i was reluctant to read this book as i thought it was another Harry Potter/Lord of the rings wizard spin off. Boy was i wrong. This is a well written book for children that not only immerses them in fantasy but teaches them so many things along the way, science, logic and racial equality. A great read. I cant wait to read the next installment. Whether you have kids or not buy it now!!.
