I used this book to evaluate costs of living including things like taxes and petrol (gasoline) costs before beginning salary negotiations--and I'm quite glad I did as it gave me information about costs I would have missed otherwise. When something about the way things were being done was confusing or irritating, it was a welcome reference. He doesn't emphasize enough how difficult it is to get shopping done if you work 9-5, or 8-7...

I'm actually here to buy one of his books for another country.
