This book helped me to understand the ins and outs of purchasing a home in Britain. It is well structured, giving a lot of useful information about the day-to-day life in Britain. The structure of mortgages and what steps to follow to get your own home are well explained. People from overseas and first time buyers should be better prepared to meet the property jungle, by having read this book and understand it as a guideline. David Hampshire uses easy language to bring the complexity of mortgages closer to the reader. Well done.
