Amazon.co.uk Review

David Firth's previous book, How to Make Work Fun, rocked the business community and took business books into a new dimension with its humorous approach. The Corporate Fool takes the concept one stage further and shakes the foundations of corporations by asking if their businesses are as good and their staff as fulfilled as they could be. Should the answer to either be "no", this book will provide the catalyst required to make the necessary changes. Firth and Leigh argue the case for businesses to nurture the idiosyncrasies of the fool. If there isn't one in the organization, then they provide a useful section on how to hire one! With an insightful listing of different types of fools, including stories and interviews, this book outlines the way to overthrow the conventional paradigm. It is essential for anyone in business who would like to understand the process of change and how to implement it within their organization. The Corporate Fool is a gem of a book filled with practical advice for anyone willing to take the unconventional route to success. --Pat Naylor

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring - gives one courage to make a difference., 5 Mar 2002
I could not put this down. It made me look at corporate culture and process from a completely different view. How many of us are there out there who would love to try these ideas - This book is a must for every manager and executive - before they get to old or brainwashed to try a new approach to working life and its challenges.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very refreshing and worthy of reading., 28 Dec 1998

This book does not deserve to be that low on the sales rank. It's fresh, it's about looking with a different perspective at business. If you like Tom Peters, you'l definetly like this one.
