5.0 out of 5 stars Inspirational and Informative, 6 Dec 2005
This book was a great companion on my recent trip to Scotland in July - it gave me all the tips and useful information I needed to know and was written in an intelligent, imaginative and witty way. One of the best travel guides I've read.

I found the book a joy; the author obviously has a great love for the country and shares that with humour. Not only do you get the factual information you need as a visitor, but you are delighted by the unexpected. A good read!
