5.0 out of 5 stars Great intro for would-be travellers of East Africa, 13 May 2002
By DelWij "DelWij" (Leeds, UK) - See all my reviews

I am still really enjoying this book! it contains essential information about all of the Countries in East Africa, getting in, accomodation, major sights etc. I particularly liked the section detailing the major health risks and necessary precautions...very useful. The book is also interspersed with anecdotal stories about a wide range of topics, from Gorillas to mountain climbing . The only thing that lets it down is the lack of pictures (there are a few of wildlife) but the book has definitely inspired me to get over there and take my own!
