Simply put, this is THE best resort guide on the market for snowboarders. It has been consistently improved year on year and unlike the closest competition (the Which? Ski & Snowboard guide) is written from the boarder's perspective. My only criticism is the poor spelling in places - get a decent spellchecker guys! This aside I would wholeheartledly recommend this guide to all snowboarders.

What a fantastic book! I was introduced to it by a snowboarder friend last year and it will FOREVER be purchased every year for planning our trips to the white stuff...

I can only express pity for the resorts that are rated below a 5 out of 10 in the guide! Will anyone go and visit you now, I wonder!? Cos we won't be! We trust it THAT much!

Sceptical when I first bought it, you are now hearing from the converted. Who cares about the dodgy spelling and elementary grammar? This book is a fantastic and comprehensive guide to all those spots (North and South Hemisphere)you probably went to when you were a kid learning to ski with your folks (before you discovered better things to do while standing up)and some you probably have never even heard of. It gives you a good idea of what to expect before you get there with a comprehensive breakdown for Freeriders, Freestylers and Carvers and also scores the off-piste activities. Not only this but it is independent of Resorts, Operators and Advertisers so it tells it like it is - if a resort is crap it says so! A must if you want to plan your next winter session to avoid disappointment. So good I even lend it to my skier mates! Will definitely be ordering the 2002 edition.
