I live and work in the same town as the author and wanting to support local talent I purchased a copy of the book and have recently found the time to actually sit down and read it cover to cover. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised on how easy it was to read and how enjoyable I found it. I can see the topic and style being attractive to the full age range in a household and can genuinely be passed around the family and be a source of mutual enjoyment and conversation. I am now in the process of passing the book round to a number of friends recommending them to read it. With Christmas and 'good value present buying' on the horizon, if this publication gets the exposure it deserves it will sell in the hundreds and I hope this encourages him to get on and write his next book that will I am sure be of the same if not higher quality with equal 'all ages' attraction.

although he is the head of english at school he can still find time to write an amaging deatailed book and i hope he keeps on writing more!

Well, this book is simply great. The narrative swoops along at a steady pace, and at no point do you feel lost in this incredible story. I'm not just doing this to get a favourable GCSE mark, you know. Mr Cox is surely one of the most promising writers that the new millennium has to offer. Fantastic stuff.
