Once again Jeremy's total dedication and love for Sharks can be witnessed in this great book. The Author gives fantastic details of the Sharks found in the Red Sea, tips to identify them and also a few caution tips. If you are a shark lover or just a diver... than you MUST have this book in your collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book is a must for all Divers visiting the Southern Red, 6 Jul 1999
By A Customer
I have just returned from the Southern Red Sea, having this book on the holiday added to the enjoyment of diving with sharks. Witness the queue of divers waiting to borrow it after each dive. Was that a lone scalloped hammerhead or a great hammerhead ? - Nice book well illustrated but look carefully the same picture appears in a few places cropped differently. Also I was disappointed it did not include the Leopard Shark I have seen them twice. But despite this I would personally highly recommend the book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Review: Red Sea Sharks, 12 Sep 2009
By Mr. G. Preston (Lancashire, England) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
The photographer, Jeremy Stafford-Deitsch has produced photographs of the highest quality. Anyone who has read Jeremy's other book, will have high expectations. There lies the problem! Although this book serves as a useful identification tool, the content is a little on the thin side and it contains several inaccuracies with regard to the common and scientific names of certain sharks. However, despite this, I would still give it 8/10.
