(REAL NAME)
"Natural Learning and the Natural Curriculum" As a trainee teacher I have found this book an inspirational read. There seems to be an excessive amount of quotes and references to other books but all the same it sheds a bright light on the modern education system. Many of the concepts and background come from the US but Meighan brings these thoughts across the channel and into the UK realm. Many links are made to the work and opinions of John Taylor Gatto and John Holt. If you are really familiar with their writings then this might not offer much in addition but does bring all the relevant details together.
