Book Description
The Stewarts probably had more impact on British history than any other single family - as mediaeval barons, monarchs and later, as pretenders. This meticulously researched book by best-selling author Stewart Ross covers over 600 years of the history of that illustrious family. The long gallery of Stewarts is presented with scholarship and vivid colour, giving new emphasis to their passionate sexuality and sinister propensity for depression. The story reveals a startling collage of unforgettable personalities.
