Menorca/Minorca may not have vertiginous mountains but it has a wealth of interesting countryside. In our Menorca guide we stroll through this natural paradise enjoying the flora and fauna, including a mass of butterflies, wild tortoises and the odd snake or two (not dangerous). For a strolling holiday, as compared to energetic hiking, Menorca has a lot to offer. This guide is based around Mahon and the eastern region of the island and takes in some of the historical sites as well as areas of outstanding natural beauty. David Brawn - joint author.
