If you are one of those people that remember everything that you have ever heard and can recall it in an instant then this book is NOT for you. This book enables those of us that cannot remember things like the many light shapes of other vessels when we are navigating at night, possibly for the first time in a few months. But this is much more than just an aide memoir, Navigation, Rule of the Road, Lights & Shapes, Engine trouble shooting, Seamanship, Safety and Weather are all covered allowing easy recollection of many of the key aspects of skippering that are often forgotten and therefore not carried out! The size is also of great benefit, being a just right to slip inside your foulies waterproof pocket.
