This is an excellent guide whether you're a first time visitor to the Cairngorms or a seasoned pro. It includes several walks ranging from riverside ambles to mountain hikes. This book covers the fascinating history of the area without rambling on unneccesarily and contains some stunning photography. I am a regular visitor to the Cairngorms and my copy of this book is now very dog eared and well-worn - I would strongly recommend it as an excellent 'all-rounder' guidebook.
