5.0 out of 5 stars delightful, 12 Jun 2005
Swanwick has long been a favorite (if rather tricky to get hold of) author of mine, and this collection of ... well, there are short stories, extracts from letters, dreams, thoughts and the title piece, a short play, all together in this charming book. due to the varied content, it is hard to describe the book as a compleat collection, but i found it a wonderful read. swanwick's talent for writing is evedent throughout, as is his wild imagination.
there is humour as well, and snipets of his day-to-day life.

i enjoyed this book a lot, and would reconmend it to anyone who has read and loved swanwick's previous works. the only down side is that the book is quite short, though that may be because i couldn't put it down!
