Product Description

Synopsis

Author, Andy Lloyd, demonstrates in his book, The Dark Star that a planet beyond Pluto need not be cold and lifeless! He says that astronomers know this. This is not controversial for them. They understand what brown dwarfs are, and they realize that they provide enough heat and light to provide habitable environments on planets orbiting these failed stars. Lloyd says that one might well be circling the sun, in the comet clouds that make up the bulk of the solar system's volume. The book recognizes the difficulties that detecting such a body present, however, Lloyd puts forth a convincing argument with 332 pages of research, 41 pictures and graphics, hundreds of scientific references, and a complete index of terms and names that Planet X exists!

5.0 out of 5 stars PlanetX, 14 Nov 2008

Andy Lloyd gives one of (if not the best) the most objective, measured, and SCIENTIFIC synopsis of 2012, Nibiru, and the propsed Brown Dwarf/Binary planetary system that we share our little piece of space with. If you read Zecharia Sitchin's work on the twelfth planet much of his idea's become crystalized with Andy Lloyd's work in his book. I find many of their idea's (backed up with extensively researched scientific material) highly interesting and very persuasive. I thoroughly recommend the book to anyone who is interested in the realities of the Mayan calender codex and the proposed end of times scenario of December 21st, 2012.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Research, 12 Jan 2009
By Peter Scott (Uk) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)

`Dark Star' presents Lloyd's outstanding research on the subject of Planet X. It is the definitive book on the subject: well researched and clearly written. Lloyd explores the history of the Planet X subject, which extends back about 100 years. His research into the topic seems to have been motivated by a desire to understand Zecharia Sitchin's Nibiru. He argues for a Dark Star scenario to explain how living beings could live in the outer solar system.

Lloyd then presents the scientific anomalies in the outer solar system, of which there are many, and how they point to the existence of a missing massive planet. Mixed into this are various media and interview quotes from academic astronomers who favour the existence of a missing planet beyond Pluto. Finally, Lloyd explores the effect of this sub-brown dwarf on the other planets, and on the Sun. His chapter on catastrophes associated with this Dark Star is particularly strong, and original.

This book is not for the faint-hearted. The ideas in it are challenging, and the science is sometimes difficult, but ultimately the book is highly rewarding.

5.0 out of 5 stars The 10th Planet?, 6 Jan 2009

The Dark Star

What unseen force affected the trajectories or The Voyager and Pioneer spacecraft? Could this same anomally have caused regular catastrophic effects upon Earth, such as Floods, Extinctions and other major Climatic changes?
Andy Lloyd provides a fascinating, belevable and logical argument for the existence of Planet X. Utilising archeological evidence, NASA reports and expanding on theories and suppositions from others in his field, such as Carl Sagan and Zecharia Sitchin; Lloyd makes you doubt all you thought you knew about our own Solar system.

Truly a Book of Revelations and a must read!

Could there be a huge planet that astronomers haven't discovered yet? 'Dark Star' certainly provides a lot of food for thought on this subject. Read more
