5.0 out of 5 stars Helps save time, money and patience, 23 Dec 2001
By A Customer
When I bought this book I was initially skeptical that it would contain tips such as delving in to garbage cans or skips/dumpsters. However I was pleasantly surprised. The book gives several ideas on how to lower your expenditure without sacrificing your lifestyle. A must for anyone who either needs to cut back on spending or who enjoys spending less on essentials so they can splurge on luxuries.

5.0 out of 5 stars An imaginative and entertaining introduction to saving money, 10 Feb 2002
By A Customer
Angie and Deana are full of bright ideas about how to save money in every aspect of your life, from your pet care, to your sports equipment. Some of their ideas are not for the faint hearted, such as putting on work clothes and rifling through rubbish dumps. However, all their ideas work. If you implement, just a fraction of their suggestions you will save pounds. Although intended for an American market, there is still much to recommend it to readers elsewhere. I particularly enjoyed the light hearted style of the book and its 'fun' take on thrift, which I found really motivational. A real must have.
