This book is not written in English. Not one page is void of either major spelling or grammatical errors. The author consistently uses the word "shell" instead of "shall" (i.e. "you shell use the C++, for many things"). The author leaves important words, such as "the" and "a" out of sentences. ("Computer is tool.."). Almost every sentence has a comma in it.

In a nutshell, I found this book barely coherent and feel angry that my University made me spend $50 dollars on a publication that has such glaring errors. Was it translated? Maybe that would explain it.

The depth and detail of Mr. Poskar's book suggest that he has achieved a mastery of C++. The book also covers many topics of relevence to students. However, the language errors are simply too distracting.

Mr Poskar, if an editor or another author could correct your English, your book would be a truly usefull tool to computer science students.

As it is, however, I really can't recommend it.

I think this book is the best I ever read on C++, it addressed the complex concept in a easy way,the exaples in this book is easy to follwoing. After read this book, I feel to write a C++ program is not so difficult as before.

Although there are few other very good books on C/C++, in my opinion this is the very best for the following reasons: 1. It covers both (C and C++)in a single book. 2. It presents many advanced concepts in a simple way. 3. Many short examples, to the point, and understandable. The problem with many other good books is that their examples too cumbersome. 4. The price
