5.0 out of 5 stars Best guns system for roleplay game I've seen so far., 11 Aug 2002
This game has fantastic content. The artwork is all black and white, and the layout isn't always the best it could be, but the actual game is very good.
The combat section is very streamlined, removing some of the spare fluff of other D20 games that isn't needed, and merely slows things down, while also including good systems for different fire options. Burst fire, cover fire, suppresive fire...
The car chase system is good, fast and furious. It is quite possible to recreate chases as seen on James Bond movies, or MI2 in the game in real time.
My only criticism of the system is the role of the Games Controler. From the text it makes out that it is the GC vs. Players. The GC has set ammounts of points to spend on goons/foils/supervillans bases. This does put across the wrong mentality of a competition. However, ignore that, and you have a truely excelent game. Simple to pick up (I taught it to 12 players in less than an hour) and if you have played D20 before it will take you minutes.

3.0 out of 5 stars Falls down at higher level, 7 Mar 2004
By A Customer
A rehash of the Starwars d20 game mechanic, but not such a good one, results in characters who are rather bad pastiches of film and tv characters, and a combat system which seems to take forever to resolve a combat due to the low damage of the weapons, and the scarcity of critical hits. Fine up to about 5th level, then a bit dice heavy for my taste.
