In America, we use this new text as the standard reference book for AYURVEDA- the Hindu art and science of medicine and proactive health care. Ayurveda appears to be the foundation for all medical systems in the ancient and now in the modern world. The medical doctor (Frank John Ninivaggi, M.D.) from Yale School of Medicine has brought over 6,000 years of wisdom into our current culture- one in which Alternative Medicine is growing. Practical information on DIET, metabolic typing, meditation, and Weltanshaung- a spiritual worldview- are made clear to the intelligent reader. Highly recommended as a gift and a personal, practical reference guide to health and well-being.
