From the Author
Being thankful to God for being able to share my memories.
As stated on the cover, this book was written for my grandchildren. However, anyone who reads it will know me better and all of history will profit by it. It should also be of special interest to any survivor of The Holocaust, as one chapter is dedicated especially to them and their relatives. Described are the on scene and personal accounts of what happened to them at Buchenwold Concentration Camp, where over 50,000 people suffered and died in 1945. I also describe survivors on that scene and their living conditions. I will always be thankful to God for the priveledge of sharing these memories with America and Europe as well, but especially thankful for being able to share this experience with ones I love most, my children, my grandchildren and my great-grandchildren.
