Is there anyone in your family or among your friends who is constantly sick from "mystery" symptoms that have the physicians baffled? The problem may be a lifetime's worth of toxins built up in the fat layer of that person's body from pesticides, plastics, mercury, cadmium and other harmful substances. Sherry Rogers, M.D., is a leading expert on how the environment affects our health. In this outstanding book she tells you all you need to know to diagnose and rid yourself of those toxic residues. It can be a sweaty process though . . . because safe saunas are one of the best ways to eliminate the most dangerous toxins.

If you are prepared to educate your physician in environmental medicine (with a lengthy, annotated letter in the book from Dr. Rogers to help you), this book can extend your life. You will probably have to eat better, add some nutritional supplements and aid the detoxification process with various healthy activities. Although health treatments from whatever source come with no guarantees, you certainly improve the likelihood that you will have a healthier life with fewer unpleasant symptoms.

Lest you think that only "sick" people need this book, Dr. Rogers points out that younger people are often piling up toxins faster than their elders . . . because the environment is less healthy now than it was when elders were younger. As the book points out, even Eskimo mothers find their own milk filled with toxins. So even babies cannot avoid contamination. Detoxification is the key. With this book, you'll know what to do.

I have previously had little interest in toxic matters or in organic produce etc. However, now I have read this book,I can see it all makes sense - if you get rid of the toxins, you also get rid of the cause of virtually all diseases. I am now actively choosing organic produce, as well as investigating all the other methods suggested in the book. A must read for anyone who cares about what they put into their body - and more importantly - for those who want to know how to get rid of what they shouldn't have put in their body.

This book changed my life (and "No" I am not related to Sherry Rogers or her publishers)!
The title of the book is totally accurate. Sherry Rogers shows us that we have a simple choice. We either Detoxify or we die early! I made my choice. What will yours be?

Dr. Rogers shows us how ubiquitous and pervasive chemical toxins are. She then shows us that many chemicals stockpile in our bodies with no natural way out, with the result that small amounts gradually accumulate to large amounts. Section three shows us that toxins are a critical factor in all disease, but section four shows us the way out of this horrendous trap. She explains how detoxification works and shows us that for many of the more hazardous chemicals there is only one way, proven with before and after data, to remove them from our bodies. This is by using a Far Infrared Sauna, and this is what changed my life. After reading the book I bought a sauna, which I have used with great benefit, and I have now gone into business selling them. (ultimatesaunacompany.com) The fifth section of the book is devoted to explaining how to detoxify most effectively. She provides a list of resources of where we can buy the things which she mentions, (although she obviously doesn't mention the ultimate sauna company, as she wrote it before we started) and the final section is a list of over 700 references, of which most are scientific proof, to back up the things which she states. An awesome book.
