Initially a set of radio broadcast pieces, each is given its own page enabling the reader to randomly select one of 53 widely differing topics that encourage a fresh look at common situations in daily life.Compiled by students of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University, the reader is assured that this is not a book of theory but of personal experiment and genuine practice. It is also fascinating to the reader to think that the perspectives within these topics are a result of a particular course of study - raja yoga - and that the insights the students share come as a result of these teachings. Such topics most readers can easily relate to as relevant to typical living, and a new slant on something familiar is certainly helpful. However, there are also other topics which may take the reader into less familiar arenas where one is encouraged to look on oneself and others as spiritual beings - souls - and to understand the difference this makes to relationships, responses and personal success.Certainly this book offers something for most readers; a chance to explore familiar feelings and situations from a different viewpoint and also the opportunity to include a spiritual dimension to everyday life.
