When I first visited Manhattan, I looked around on the net for a good quality, useable map. I came across the Streetwise Manhattan. It's worth every penny spent on it. The map is clear and easy to use. All of the subway lines and stops are clearly marked. The main tourist attractions are highlighted as well. On the reverse is a map of the bus routes including direction travelled.
The map is compact and fits easily into a handbag or rucksack. As it's laminated, it's extremely hard wearing.
Each time I visit Manhattan, I buy the latest version as subway changes occur sporadically. It truly is something I will not leave home without when I visit again this summer.

I recently bought the Manhattan and Queens maps for a very recent visit to NYC and it was waiting for me at my fiances apartment when I got there (about a week after ordering in the UK) Customer service is fantastic, delivery speedy and the maps are just brilliant and helped me enormously on my first of many lone outings to Manhattan. Small enough to fit in any purse and big enough to see clearly. Great, and thank you

a great tough map that still hasnt ripped even through heavy use. no messing no silly flip up compass and fold out dishwasher, its just a map. and a great map. Big and clear and perfect for first timers.

Enjoy the trip! you'll love it!
