Product Description

Product Description

Find the bugs in these broken programs and become a better programmer. Based on real-world errors, the puzzles range from easy (one wrong character) to mind twisting (errors with multiple threads). Match your wits against the author's and polish your language skills as you try to fix broken programs. Clues help along the way, and answers are provided at the back of the book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Test Of Your Coding Review Ability, 4 May 2003
By S. P. Templeton (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This book's a little unusual - the code is bust and you've got to say why. Some are obvious, many are subtle. You can also use it for interviewing to flush out the real ability of the candidate in front of you. For those wishing to create a C++ coding standard, the answers in the back are accompanied by useful 'avoidance' rules.
