3.0 out of 5 stars Good ideas but shallow, 2 Jun 2003
By A Customer
This was the fourth baby book I bought; I already had three general baby books but I wanted one aimed at multiples. Anyone with twins or triplets knows that it is a very different experience from a singleton baby and books like this can be a big help. This is an American book written by parents of triplets. There are lots of good ideas here so it's fun to browse through it. Some ideas are meant for triplets (not twins) and others don't translate to the UK but many ideas are really good. It describes one parents' experience of multiples; your experiences might not be the same. In particular many parents of twins are often worried about their children's development or how to raise them. In that case I found a better book was "A Parents Guide to Raising Twins" by Elizabeth Friedrich, which collates stories from lots of parents about aspects of raising twins and also includes some good research.
