Good book, and the idea is brilliant, I might have read it at the wrong time, which was 2 months after my relationship ended, and I've already started moving on,....it's possible this is more for the immediate aftermath as it didn't do much for me. Saying that there is a lot of empathy, ideas, helpful guidelines and advice. It's written by a guy and I do think men would get a lot from this (I'm female) as it concentrates a lot on allowing yourself to feel hurt and pain, which I think men find harder to go through. It does it in a good way, i.e. it's ok to feel hurt, it's normal, you can let yourself feel that way. I'd recommend it to men, people just out of a relationship and perhaps also older people rather than early twenties? I don't know why I get that impression, but I do. Women would also enjoy it - absolutely. Also, I'd say anyone who wants to hear a story of how someone else got through a rough break-up - this is also a good one for you as the author gets his empathy and wisdom from real experience.

Altogether, someone else who fits the picture more will give this 5 stars, for sure. I might have done two months ago as well.

I wrote the above review, and regret my words, as this book has become more invaluable to me over time. It is truely amazing when I need it and has helped. It's one of those you can pick up when you're friends aren't able to understand what you are going through. So apologies for my words before. I can definitely recommend this, and feel better for rectifying my review.
