Product Description

Synopsis

A highly original work that deals a shattering blow to all our preconceived notions about our past and human origins.World-wide legends refer to giant flying lizards and dragons which came to this planet and founded the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, India and China. Who were these reptilian creatures? This book provides the answers to many of the riddles of history such as: -- What was the real reason for man's creation? -- Why did Adam lose his chance at immortality in the Garden of Eden? -- Who were the Nefilim who descended from heaven and mated with human women? -- Why did the serpent take such a bum rap In history? -- Why didn't Adam and Eve wear clothes in Eden? -- What were the "crystals" or "stones" that the ancient gods fought over? -- Why did the ancient Sumerians call their major gods Ushumgal, which means literally "great fiery, flying serpent?" -- What was the role of the gigantic stone platform at Baalbek? -- What were the "boats of heaven" in ancient Egypt and the "sky chariots" of the Bible?

By Mr. E. Langhorne "Space Ed" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
As a scientist the only major flaw I have with this book is the lack of physical evidence cited in the book. However, there is an enormous amount of translation from ancient texts and, although anecdotal, Boulay gives much food for thought.

The most enjoyable chapters for me were the tales of dragons from the middle-ages and the astonishing historical account by a Roman historian of a legion coming up a dragon guarding a river during the first Punic war.

Boulay goes very far into analysis of the Bible and Sumerian tablets and gives fascinating stories of the Annunaki and their time on Earth. There are wonderful translations of the Epic of Gilgamesh and other tales of the ancient middle-east involving spaceships, the search for immortality and the origins of the story of the Garden Of Eden. He even makes a convincing case that Yahweh was indeed real but definately not God- rather a god. One of many gods who were around at the time.

One of my favourite quotes from the book goes something like, "If you read original Torah about the burnt offerings given to the deity (Yaweh), it actually reads very much like a cookbook and the modern translation of altar would be 'barbeque grill.' There are even instructions on leaving salt by the altar and instructions on keeping the grill hot during the night. Evidently the deity enjoyed putting seasoning on his food and going for midnight snacks."
