5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant piece of writing - extremely humourous, 4 Nov 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: True to Type (Hardcover)
This is the first volume of his biography and what an interesting start it made, telling of his working life as the first true typographer. Very informative to the reader and surprisingly, to me anyway as I thought otherwise when first picking up the book, it makes a rather compelling read. The writing style is that of 'informative humour' as his very busy life story is told by the means of his involvement with differnt people and the sories he has to tell of his involvement with them. I feel that I must metion the author's own illustrations throughout the book, which are just marvellous!! A very good read, well worth snapping this one up as quickly as you can click on the 'add to the shopping basket' button!! I hope everyone enjoys reading this book as much as I have.
