If you want a VERY basic book just to get you up on the fundamentals, this might be OK. However, the entire sum of this book adds up to the content of just the first three or four chapters of most other ActiveX books I've come across, which teach you the basics but then take you much further beyond them. Plus some --- though not all --- of the software on the CD-ROM is fairly clunky and not up to the latest ActiveX standards.

Judging by the content of the bio, it was written by the author of the book. Read the vain attempt at puffing himself up and you will find the reading the same.
