This book is a must for anyone trying to delve into the myseteries of the self. May be of particular interest to Jungian Psychologists out there due to the discussion of the Shadow and how it manifests in various aspects of the American culture. As always, pay attention to the reccommended readings that Shidoshi Morris mentions. A very jam-packed book of useful strategies.... you might want to take a refresher course on universal symbolism to get the most out of the book.

Anyone who has read the previous book (Path Notes), like me, would be inclined to think that this is a collection of thought-provoking and interesting knowledge just like the last one, only in more depth. While not totaly untrue, the writing style of this new book is slightly off the mark; It's more of the same, only deeper and more abstract. There is little there for the novice who seeks spiritual enlightenment, but supposedly, a wealth of knowledge for the advanced student of meditation and spiritualism. Although I do not profess to be enlightened or wise in any way, I feel that the humbleness of the last book (the aspect that made it most appealing) is totaly lost and repalced with a pompous view that Morris is some kind of messiah. True, he might have opened many people's eyes, but that's only because of his subtlety. You will see no such subtlety in this tome. Feel free to E-mail me if you think you'd like to ask anything of the book in question.

Shadow Strategies is another excellent write by Dr. Morris. This one can, and has been, used for academic reference as well. It's Chock Full O' Nuts and Bolts info.Read carefully and slowly, it's a meal. Peace and Enjoy! Howard A. Davis, The Black Tiger

This and Morris' book Path Notes, should be read by everyone. I think the world would be a better place. He is the most inspiring author I have ever read.
