The "Knitter's Stash" has a lot of very knitable patterns, several are for beginners too. It has everything from felted fish to more intricate sweaters. You will also find a sweater for your dog - a small one! What lost the fifth star, because it is a great book - is that each pattern has come from an American knitting yarn store, and to me in Norway that is not all that interesting. The patterns have a gauge though, so you can substitute the yarn, some of them are costly. So, a very nice book to have in your knitting library.
