I have owned The Ball Python Manual for a year now, (I got it through Amazon.com) and it is refreshing to find a text that gives an owner IMPORTANT factual information about the care and keeping of these magnificent (and docile) reptiles. My highest recommendation is given to anyone interested in the husbandry of Royal (Ball) Pythons.

Ball pythons are increasingly popular as pets, but the uninformed owner may have problems with feeding, shedding, etc. This book, by widely respected authorities, provides concise and practical information to make ball python ownership rewarding for snake and keeper. On internet mailing lists and newsgroups, when new ball python keepers ask for information, often they are referred to this book. The Ball Python Manual describes pattern variations, guidelines for selecting a healthy snake, housing, feeding, handling, and quite a bit more including disorders in ball pythons.
