2.0 out of 5 stars Half okay - half dissapointment, 14 Mar 2000
By A Customer
I loved half of this book but the other half really dissapointed me. I'm Pagan and I thought it would be a good book to help me bring up my child, but I couldn't stand all the God references in the first chapters. The stories and the practical parts were great and it was well explained but the first part just reminded me of the bible - or basic christian teachings - just the word God repeatedly used over and over again. Such a shame as the rest of the book was okay.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful book for people of all ages!, 16 Jun 1999
By A Customer
Mountains,Meadows, and Moonbeams is one of my personal favorite books, because it is fun, educational, and easy to read. This book is very understandable and filled with wonderful poems, stories, and information about life on this earth.I like this book because it takes more than one day to read so that it can continue to marvel you each time you pick it up.Normally I don't read books such as these, but for some unknown reason I was drawn to this book.I recomend this book to people of all ages,on the orderform it says "for ages 6-8" but dont let this fool you.Mountins,Meadows, and Moonbeams is easy to read and easy to understand. Also, for those who don't understand poetry, after every poem there is the moral or message that explains the meaning.I plan to also buy this book for some special child that I know.I believe that this book has impacted my life, and also the life of others.Another book by Mary Summer Rain that I just adore is called Star Babies, but in my opinion nothing can compare with these two books.I hold these two books close to my heart, and hope that my grandchildren may read them also.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not just for children!, 27 April 1999
By A Customer
I am 22 years old and I really learned a lot from this book. Here is where Mary lays out the basics that everyone needs to know. Her writing style is simplified for kids but the content is for anybody.
