1.0 out of 5 stars Too many mistakes!, 23 Feb 2009
By Dr. C. R. Snowden (Yorkshire) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I read the 5 star review before I bought this book and I was initially very pleased with the accessible way the author handled the topics. Then I read a description of the isotopes of hydrogen which is just plain wrong. I have complained to the publishers and looked online for reviews that point out these errors and guess where I found them - Amazon.com! Unfortunately the good reviews don't tell the whole story. This book is not reliable and I cannot recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for all science teachers and nerds. , 26 Jun 2007
By U. Nystuen (Oslo, Norway) - See all my reviews

Here you get a short and precise definition on all the laws and theories in modern science.
If you're not driven in science its okay, here the theories are broken down to kinder garden level.
