5.0 out of 5 stars A Favourite, 9 Feb 2001
By A Customer
An all - encompassing book with exquisite photos and accurate descriptions of all the mammals in Australia - native or otherwise. On a recent field trip with twelve other zoology students (incl post graduate) all agreed the book is the best they have seen on the topic. This book includes points on identification of each species/subspecies as well as brief descriptions of their biology, where they are found (with maps) and current (1998) conservation status.
