Cowrie goes to Hawaii to meet her family. Whilst she is there she discovers her heritage link to the turtle woman! This story is full of food descriptions - you can taste the fruts and smell the coconut and ginger. A lovely read, what's more this is the first in a series. So if you enjoy Cowrie read The Journey Home and/or Manawa Toa.
