5.0 out of 5 stars A Must for all Chairboys Fans, 18 May 2002
By A Customer
Being a fairly young and recently converted fan of Wycombe Wanderers (8 years as a fan). I was interested in finding out more of Wycombe's past and I am pleased to say that this book has extensive coverage of Wycombes achievements in its non-league games and amateur years. This book does this perfectly and provides an interesting insight to what went on behind the scenes rather than just a blow by blow account of what we have already seen from the stands. This book starts from the forming of the club by some local furniture workers and progresses through the different leagues, taking you up to the promotion to the football league in 1993, the second division promotion in 1994, the move to Adams Park and the extensive work that has been done on Adams Park. All in all a fascinating read for anyone with an interest in the history of The Blues.
