THE BOOK SETS OUT TO GIVE THE FULL STATISTICS ( DATE OF BIRTH,APPEARANCES,GOALS SCORED,ETC. ) FOR ALL PLAYERS OF HULL CITY AFC FROM ITS FOUNDING IN 1904 UP TO AND INCLUDING THE END OF SEASON 1999/2000 ( A TOTAL OF WELL OVER 800 PLAYERS ).

IT IS VERY EASY FOR SUCH A PUBLICATION TO BECOME EITHER A REPOSITORY OF DRY DATA OR ELSE A PHOTO GALLERY BUT PETERSON HAS AVOIDED BOTH TRAPS BY INCLUDING LOADS OF ANECDOTAL INFORMATION WHICH HELP TO BRING THE BOOK TO LIFE.YET THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS NEVER COMPROMISED AND THE BREADTH OF THE WORK IS SIMPLY BREATHTAKING.EVEN PLAYERS WITH ONLY A FEW APPEARANCES FOR HULL CITY OR WHO ONLY PLAYED FOR THE TIGERS ON LOAN ARE INCLUDED!
