This is a great book for the beginner. I teach college level courses in Visual Basic and I use this as my introductory course text book. Peter Wright's writing style is light, and makes reading the book very easy.

This book has been re-done in 1995 for V4.0 of Visual Basic. I have not read the edition of the book for V3.0 that this record describes, however, I have read the first half of the V4.0 edition of the book. It stinks. Do not even consider the V4.0 edition of this book.
