5.0 out of 5 stars Very serious academic survey of recorded teams, 26 Sep 1999

Sorry I haven't read it, only browsed it. The book is divided down by county and lists every single sighting of that rare species: the morris dancer before 1900. This labour of love quotes the sources from books, newspaper articles and unpublished diaries. A work of breathtaking dedication.
