This is similar in format to their first volume in the series, Prehistoric Sites of Herefordshire. However, they have developed their theories further in the light of additional research in Monmouthshire, an area which has interesting Stone Age finds along the shores of the Severn Estuary, in addition to Bronze Age complexes, standing stones and later hillforts.

Following this easy to read guide to the region's monuments enabled me and my wife to explore the regions rich prehistoric heritage during our enjoyable holidays in Monmouthshire last summer. I shall certainly be using these author's other guides to nearby regions when going on holidays in the future.
