This brief yet charming review of The pubs of Leominster, Kington and northwest herefordshire gives a good insight into the history of the pubs and local stories attached to them. Not a book specifically designed for research puposes (which makes it somewhat easier to read!)but nevertheless containing many interetsing facts of which I was previously unaware. Having background knowledge of the places mentioned helps a great deal! This delightfully informative book is a must read for local historians interested in the social history of Pubs and their role in the community.
