"Jason's Crystal" came about as a result of a holdiay when my own children ran out of reading material. At the same times, some very peculiar things started happening. Rain fell in August in Nerja on the Costa Tropical in Spain, when normally there is no rainfall. There were explosions on the hill sides. And we visited the most fantastic caves. I started asking the most magical of questions ... "What if..." "Jason's Crystal" was born. I had to write fast enough that the next chapter was ready for the next bed-time. But the polished version first appeared ten years later.
Nerja is a truly magical place and features highly in this book.
