Synopsis
Mac the rabbit sets off on a voyage of discovery, aided and abetted by a comic crew of critters who help him through a variety of adventures, some funny, some scary, as he comes to understand more and more about the world around him, and the human beings he shares it with. On the way he meets up with Fern the Deer and the Rabbit Rescue Squad, both of whom have lessons for him, dodges stones from catapults, has conversations with crows and owls, oh, and manages to climb a tree. And rescues Shanghai the Pot-Bellied Pig. But there is still one twist in the tale - or should that be "tail"?

This is a charming book, clearly written with a touch of humour,and should be a fun read for children. In fact, it was a fun read for this adult. Exciting story, well described and illustrated with most appealing characters, suspense and a beautiful ending. The book is published in conjunction with Mossburn Animal Centre, whose logo, Mac, inspired the story.
