This book was originally published in 1960 and has been unavailable until now. It is the first biography of Gerald B. Gardner. In 1939 Gardner was initiated into a traditional Witchcraft coven. Due to his efforts there is now a world-wide tide of Goddess spirituality and Wicca that is the fastest growing spiritual path.

This book lets you into the personal side of the man who wrote 'Witchcraft Today', 'The Meaning of Witchcraft' and 'A Goddess Arrives'. It is a personal biography by a dear friend. There are pictures that capture the period and his personality.

This book is a rare find and not to be missed. Once you have read it check out 'Wiccan Roots' by Philip Haselton which was just published 11/2000. He investigates the statements and 'claims' made by and about Gardner with interesting results.

If you are interested in Wicca-shouldn't you read about the man who made it possible for it to grow and be the powerful healing force it is today?
