5.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating exploration of the "snuff" myth., 25 Sep 2001
By A Customer
An in depth look at death on film and the myth off "snuff" movies. The book basically sets about showing that there is no evidence whatsoever for the existence of any snuff films ever being made or distributed. It does this while along the way taking a detailed look at "mondo" films, documentary death footage and every other kind of death or purported death on celluloid. Gruesome and intriguing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Disturbing yet facinating., 8 Jul 2001
A thouroughly disturbing read which I find myself picking up again and again. A comprehensive analysis of the subject of death on film.
