I've been a fan of Maisie since I was about 5 and this has always been my favourite book. It still has the same entertainment value now that it had then and every child I have read it to loves it. The story focuses on Maisie Mc Kenzie a 'wee tabby kitten' who moves to Edinburgh to live with her granny, when her Daddy goes exploring, the series follows her adventures. The illustrations and stories are top notch and even now I'm 19 they have great appeal. Read this book to your children (and even do the voices!) and they will want you to read it every night!
